We have a goal this summer to visit all of the metro parks in our area. Our first stop was this past Saturday. Outside our particular trail there was a sign about this park being a hot spot for woodpeckers. After John read the sign out loud, Anna didn't stop talking about how she was afraid a woodpecker was going to "get her." We enjoyed our walk, but I don't think she felt safe until we made it back to our van. Then she wanted to look at the sign and pick out her favorite woodpecker.
Something is missing from that hiking group.... a dog! Then Anna wouldn't have to worry about being attacked by woodpeckers! Tell her Bingley and Mandy say HI!
