"You can't give away what you don't have"

I was coloring a picture next to Anna, and when I was almost finished, I noticed that she was copying my picture.

Little eyes and ears are observing me all day long ... how I react to a burnt dinner, a beautiful sunrise, a slow driver, a big mess, jeans that don't fit anymore, a sunny day, a rainy day, a compliment from a friend ... and the list goes on.  I won't be perfect, but I will have opportunities to teach them about God's amazing love, grace, and forgiveness, and, as usual, I'll have more reminders to pray for God's continued grace and wisdom as I live before them.
