We can't get enough of this little chica! She is really starting to smile now and we are all smitten.
As I tell all my girls, I am so blessed to be their Mommy.
Anna has a notebook that she has filled up with pictures that she has drawn. Now she's starting to add words to write her own little story. She has been very preoccupied with this endeavor. The other night she said, "Mom, I can't fall asleep b/c I can't stop thinking about my book."
Payton was star of the week at preschool last week, or as she would say it, "tar of da week."
She only had to wear the hat for 2 hours at school, but it remained on her head for the following 3 days : )

John reading to the girls at bedtime. Almost done with the first Narnia book. Anna is really into it and Payton's along for the ride.
I rarely have to structure play around here - seems like my girls always have their imaginations at work. Here they are preparing a pretend surprise birthday party ... for me!
imaginations are great!! i still wish Jonathan would compile all of his Candy Rock stories... they are in their 3rd year!
ReplyDeleteUgh. . . she is going to be a year before I get to see her in real life!! I am anxious!! So how old were you at your pretend birthday?
ReplyDeleteSo cute!
