Trick or Treat 2011

 Trick or treating is a fun time. The girls were really looking forward to it this year, and as you can see Anna was a bumblebee and Payton was supergirl (big surprise!). This year we walked around with a group of our neighbors and it was nice evening - chatting with everyone and watching our kids enjoy themselves : ) Anna raced from house to house with her friends and she was hard to keep up with : ) Payton was happy at a slower pace, and after the first 30 minutes we chose to push her in the stroller. Everyone kept saying, "she's got it made!"

We told Anna to make a sign that said "take one."  This is what she wrote, "toke 1."  We didn't take time to change it : ) It's fun to see her learn to write on her own.

At the end of the evening, the girls were wired!  They really hadn't eaten that much candy, but they were hyper.  We perused the loot and then put them to bed asap.  They couldn't focus on anything we were asking them to do, and just like we thought, they were asleep in about 30 seconds. Now ALL THAT CANDY is tempting me!!!
