Has it really been 6 months? Wasn't I just pregnant?!? This baby girl is so squishy. Really, that's the best word for her because I want to squeeze her all the time. Those chubby cheeks and that big smile just about send me over the egde.
6 months is a great age. It's the calm before the moving and grooving storm. You know what I mean - she's interactive but not mobile : ) However, Sarah, has reached the stage where she wants to be held all the time and she only stays content with an activty (e.g. - swing, playmat, etc) for about 6 minutes before she asks (i.e. cries) for something else. She also hates to see me leave the room. Poor baby - I promise that I'll come back in like 20 seconds!!
This was a big month for Sarah because she started eating solid foods. It's a very messy job but she's getting the hang of the spoon, I think. She sleeps through the night about 5-6 nights a week which really is such a blessing. I'm thankful because I know that can easily change without notice : ) She's playing in the exersaucer now, which she doesn't love but tolerates. She pulls her socks off right after I put them on and she puts everything in her mouth. She can sit up for about 3 seconds : )
She loves to touch my face.
... and, as usual, she's a spit up machine and she enjoys that thumb : )
great pictures!
ReplyDeleteI love all the things you wrote! Great things to remember about her as a little baby! (well, maybe the crying part isn't so great but I'm sure one day it will bring a smile. . . .like in 18 years! ha!)
she's so adorable! i love that age too!
ReplyDeleteDid I make those flowers? (you gotta get rid of the word verification, makes it hard to comment)
