Summer Memories

An inflatable pool at the bottom of the slide - it's the simple things, I tell ya.  Lots of fun for the kiddos : )
A night out with friends (John taking pic) - wish we could do it more often.  This particular evening came after a very long week!
We're big fans of the library.  I've taken the girls every Tuesday this summer, which has been a really nice weekly outing for us.  They always have a couple crafts set up for the kids, which is nice because my girls love crafts, but I'm terrible at organizing them : )  The summer reading program has been worth it, too.  The girls have been so excited about it and the coupons have been ok.  Yesterday we went to Saxby's coffee for free cookies with no purchase necessary!  I wish you could see some of the books the girls have checked out. They've really been into books on "manners" and this past week they got a book about piranhas!

"This is the biggest zucchini I've ever seen," said Payton : )  Holy Moly!  They are huge. We're getting lots of good zucchinis and cherry tomatoes from the garden.  Everything else?  Well, we'll try again next year! : )
The girls going for a ride in Dottie and Terry's convertable ("concredible" according to Payton).  They love it!

  1. Ashley and I used to do that with our Little Tykes slide. We also used to take towels out into the pool and pretend we needed to be "rescued". LOTS of fun.

Your girls look like California Girls with their sunglasses and convertible!
