We kept our Christmas outing simple this year. We went out to dinner, stopped for a treat on the way to Cincy, and went to the "Holiday in Lights" at Sharon Woods. I think we were all thankful that we did something that kept us in the warmth of our van :) We've been feeling extra chilly this winter.
The girls were so animated and thrilled with the light displays. Sarah was especially cute. She was pointing and screaming at everything. It's was such a simple little adventure, but it's exciting when you're a child.
Sarah is cracking me up in this photo. Look at the ketchup on her mouth!
Payton asked me to take this photo of her :) awesome
Christy is one of my closest friends and her daughter, Kaleigha, is one of Anna's dearest friends. I just love it. Kaleigha turned 7 in December and she got to invite one friend to her special birthday outing at the American Girl doll store. She picked Anna :) We drove to Columbus on a school night and had dinner at the AG diner. The girls LOVED it and I'm glad they have this special memory. It was quite the adventure for Christy and me because of all the killer traffic stories, but it all turned out ok in the end .... even with the girls staying up until almost midnight!
The following day I volunteered at both the girls Christmas parties. Talk about hyper kids ... It was crazy but I like being in the classroom :)
Why pajamas for Christmas party!!?? American girl!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt was so fun; even with crazy traffic!! So glad you both could come with us!!
