Happy Birthday, Payton!!

Payton is 6 years old!

This has been a big year for Payton. She is thriving in school and absolutely loves Kindergarten especially since she is learning to read. She a has friend, Isabelle, that she talks about nearly every day when she comes home.  Lilly is her close friend from church and Payton tells us frequently that, "I wish she lived in our neighborhood."  Payton loves to sing (currently "Frozen" songs) and can talk non-stop.  She likes sticker books, puzzles, coloring, paper dolls, and all things Frozen. Like everyone else she has her selfish and impatient moments, but she really is a sweetheart. She's affectionate & tenderhearted. She loves playing with Anna & forcing Sarah to give her hugs. She is a good eater and her favorite foods are: tacos, pancakes, mac & cheese, frittata, and salmon :)  Her favorite color now is green.  She adores her Daddy and often says, "I wish you didn't have to go to work." She still loves to greet him at the door with the biggest hug. This has been a special year for me and Payton since I get to spend every afternoon with just her. I've loved our time together to read books and play games.

 

 On Friday, her birthday, she woke up to her favorite breakfast, donuts.  Later that evening we went to Chick-fil-a for dinner and then came back to the house for cake & presents. 

A Frozen Party!

Anna is her favorite character and I had a friend from church make this adorable cake. 

The expression on her face when she saw the cake and realized that she finally got the Anna doll!





When we were eating cake Payton said with excitement, "I didn't know my party was going to be like this!!"  She was so happy!

My parents joined us.  Payton loves spending time with them.  During the afternoon she went with my parents to the nursing home to visit my aunt & came back with lots of pictures that she had colored with Aunt Dee.

Her birthday ended with all three girls in her bed. It didn't last long!

Happy Birthday, my sweet girl.  You are such a blessing to us.  We are praying for you everyday and love you so very much!!!
