Recent Happenings

Sarah and two of her favorite friends, Tessa and Myles.  Love seeing them play together! Cuties!
Anna's trade fair project.  She had to write a business plan, make a homemade item to trade, and create an advertising sign.  We made these cute pencil cans with scrapbook paper, mod podge, and ribbon.  She was very proud of them and called them "Anna's Little Cans."  Her advertisement said, "Anna's Little Cans for Your Little Things."  It was fun to go to the trade fair and see all of the cute items the second graders made.

Anna & her very sweet second grade teacher :)
Sarah is at the most adorable age and I love her so very much. Spending my mornings with her is one of the best parts of my day, and it makes me excited about having another precious daughter.  Age 0-2 is hard for me, but this age, even with the tantrums, just melts me all day long.  She says the cutest things like ... "Daddy, I need you," when she wakes up in the morning or, "You're my best," when she gives me kisses or greets Daddy at the door.  She is always so excited to see us & brings so much laughter and joy to her older sisters.  I could gobble her up!

We are trying to move past a lot of baby things with her.  She loved her crib (almost 3 years!) but has transitioned pretty easily to her toddler bed.  She says, "I like my new bed."  She doesn't always stay put, but we're working on it.
True Story - Sarah loves to have her picture taken. She likes shoes, clothes, and all things girly :)
I'm not always a fan of school projects, but the girls have had some pretty good ones lately.  Here's Payton with her pet pig that she named Sophie.  Payton made this home and had to care for her pig and take it with her all week long.  She wrote in a journal everyday at school about caring for her pig. She was really into this project and it was sweet to see her read to the pig, feed the pig, etc.  A great Kindergarten memory!

  1. That's a big time project for 2nd grade! We did it in Kettering with the 5th graders. Cute slogan. Good job, Anna! I would've bought one. :)

Sarah's such a cutie. I love how she is always squinty in pictures.

Peyton is a gem as usual. I love all your girls, and can't wait to meet the next one!!
