We spent a week at Lake Cumberland with the Bailey family. It was a fun & relaxing vacation. The girls LOVE going boating and I am so happy that they are growing up with so much time swimming and in the lake. They will be way more confident in the water than their Mama :)
I'm thankful we could all be together. As always, we bring back lots of good memories.
John's Aunt and her family joined us this year for most of the week. It was nice to get to know them better, and their daughter, Erika, was so sweet. She and Anna went tubing a few times. It's a great spectator sport because their expressions are priceless. We could never quite tell if Anna was really enjoying herself, but after her first time (even with leg cramps) she wanted to go again the next day.
Can you see Anna's face? She has her thumbs down for Papaw to slow down the boat. They held on for a long time! When she fell off the raft she got in the boat and said, "I didn't like that. I came out of the water and I thought, 'where am I?"

Anna worked on trying to dive and flip off the boat. We saw a lot of belly flops :)
She was super brave this year and was really into trying new things (like the tubing). She skied for the first time attached to the boat. That was a big deal. What a champ!
This is my water baby. Nothing comes between her & swimming :) The temps or conditions do not matter! She's the first one to jump in, always :) I love to see her so excited and happy.
I don't think anyone loves the water as much as these 3 :)

Sarah was not a fan of the water the first day; she was kicking and screaming when we put her in. She warmed up the next day. This is the closest she came to water sports, riding on someone's back.

Papaw's boat is called "Cookie Cruiser." Chocolate chip cookies are the favorite boat snack :)
My 3 little loves. I tried so hard to get a decent photo of them together. It didn't work out as planned but, hey, Crystal made the photo and she's in the monkey float!
