Anna's 9 Year old interview

Anna is 9 years old!  She is growing up fast. This summer she told me "I don't really like going to parks anymore; I think I'm getting too old for them."  WHAT!?!?!

 

Anna likes to read, ride her bike, go shopping, play piano, play with friends, listen to music, do art projects, play with Lego Friend sets, Playmobil, and her American Girls.  I am definitely seeing a shift in what she likes to play with and it's just a tad heartbreaking to see her grow up. Yesterday, I overheard her tell a neighbor friend who came over to play, "Let's just sit in the backyard and talk."  That sounds like what I do with my friends :)

 

Relationships mean a lot to Anna and she cares a lot about her friends. She can be a peacemaker and dislikes conflict. She is a warm and sensitive girl who thinks deeply and talks a lot.  She is excited about school and life.  We love her so much and look forward to another year that God gives us with her.

Anna, we are blessed to have you in our family. I LOVE being your Mom!

 

Anna likes colorful and bright clothes. A few weeks ago we were in GAP and she tried on an adorable outfit but said, "No offense Mom but GAP has boring colors and their clothes are kind of old-fashioned."  LOL!

“Hugs and kisses and snuggles but she doesn’t really want it”

“Right now I have no idea.”

“I like to play with Lego Friend sets and Read.”

“Lotus Lane books, Whatever After books, and American Girl Doll Books.”

What do you like most about school?
“I like the holiday parties.”

Favorite Subject?
“Art and I like Science experiments.”
Anything you don’t like about school?
“I don’t like how long the day is. I wish it was shorter.”

What are you looking forward to about being 9?
“I’m looking forward to the school year.”

“Everything”

“Right next to my Mom”
