Baby Janey at 4 weeks

I can't tell if life is going by fast or slow. 

We feel tired and busy, but we are so happy to have our little Janey with us.  She is a joy to our hearts.  Her sisters love her, and I'm so glad that the four of them have each other.  What a great gift and life.

 

Janey is a sweet baby.  She is still in sleepy mode and takes big long naps. We can hardly wake her at times.  She is a slow eater which has slowed me down, too.  She cries like crazy when she's hungry.  She likes to fix her eyes on whoever is holding her, and I'm convinced that she has already smiled at me.  She is just now transitioning into 0-3 month clothes and out of newborn diapers.  She is itty bitty and precious, and we are enjoying these fleeting days with a newborn.  Thank you, Lord.

 

 first hike :)

 Jane snuggling with Sarah.  We told Sarah that she and Jane were going to be best buddies some day.  Now Sarah says, "Me and Janey are going to be big buddies!"
