Payton is 7 years old! WHAT!?!?! Her birthday was on Saturday and she was talking about it all week. Payton had a friend party this year. After going to roller skating parties a few months ago, she wanted to have hers at the same place. It was a bit chaotic but a lot of fun. We invited all the girls in her class and everyone could come but two! It was so fun to see Payton with her friends. The girls are sweet and they are all good buddies & so happy to be together. At the end of the day she said, "That was one of the best days of my life."
Payton is a confident girl & sure of herself. She is very easy to please & laid back. She doesn't sweat the small stuff. She has little to no opinion about her clothing or hair, and she dislikes everything about shopping unless it involves sweets, of course :) She has lots and lots of friends. She loves to play with Anna. She has to exercise a lot of patience and gentleness when she plays with her younger sisters :) She is generous & is almost always willing to sacrifice her money, toys, or food to someone who wants/needs it. She's affectionate. She likes fruit, tacos, salmon, frittata, and eggs. She's the only child I know who can eat 1/2 a bowl of ice cream/dessert and leave the rest because, "I'm full of the ice cream and don't want anymore." She's full of energy and can be hyper, but she really needs her rest to stay in a happy mood :) She's the first one in the family to fall asleep. She doesn't love school but she is a good students and her reading skills have really taken off this year. She likes Magic Treehouse and Cam Jansen books. I can't get enough of her!
