Anna turns 10

Anna is 10.  What?!  Goodness, she still seems so young to me but I remember when she was in Kindergarten and thinking that 4th graders/10 year old's seemed so big. I just couldn't imagine her being that age and her she is!   I feel so blessed to be Anna's Mom.  She loves school and works hard to be an excellent student.  She especially loves reading and there are some days when she could read every waking hour if we let her.  She's social and loves being with friends. She is a peacemaker and genuinely wants everyone to get along.  She never ever wants to disappoint anyone, and it's hard if she thinks or knows that someone is upset with her.  She likes to play the piano, swim, play games, listen to music, & have lots of fun.  

She had a birthday party with friends a few weeks ago at a skating rink.  She had a blast and we practically had the whole place to ourselves.  On her actual birthday (also the first day of school), we opened presents and had her favorite cake and ice cream.  

We love you so much, Anna!   To the moon and back :)
