the best of times

We had a great weekend. A few times each year we have the joy of getting together with dear friends-- the Halls and the Mitchells. This time we met in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Now, I know it's not the most exciting place in the midwest, but it's about an equal distance from our respective homes. Anyway, we always have good talks and loads of fun when we see each other. With all of the diaper bags, strollers, sippy cups, and melt-downs, we also found ourselves looking at each other and asking, "Who would have imagined this 5 years ago?"
