We bought a playset! We're so thankful. It's already providing hours of entertainment, and the girls think we have a park in our backyard. It's also attracting the neighbor children, which is a great way to get to know the families around us. In case you're wondering about the plywood and bricks by the ramp - we had to make some temporary steps since the previous owners had the swingset housed on a slope in their backyard. Oh, and the photos of Payton are so funny. That girl would seriously enjoy a hammock, don't you think?
That is great Pam!! I bet the girls are loving it... the pics of Payton are hilarious! I really like it better than all of the commercial ones. Sometimes homemade is best :) The "steps" are great... if that was at our house, they would probably become permanent!
ReplyDeleteWe got ours on Craigslist as well....all the neighbor kids come over to play here too! Enjoy! (one quick word of caution...watch for splinters. We have some spots that need some sanding.) I stained mine a dark brownish color too to make it look brand new - it takes a lot of time, but it looks great!)
