Our good friends from Michigan came down for a quick visit this past weekend.
Besides the good company and good talks the highlights were:
1.) After the kids went to bed on Friday night, I talked the adults into playing all 16 rounds of Scattergories. Anyone else like that game? It's one of my all time favorites and I indulged this weekend : )
2.) Dying eggs with the kids and putting together an indoor egg hunt (it was wet outside). We put raisins, goldfish, and M&M's in the eggs. The simplest of activities and treats put smiles on their faces : )
I can't say that we had a picture perfect weekend. A short lived stomach virus made it's way through a few of the kids. It put a damper on our plans and kept us home for most of the weekend, but it didn't stop the fun ... it just kept us up all night : )
