April showers bring May flowers! After the tremendous record breaking amount of rain we received this past month, it was a blessing to see such a beautiful big rainbow yesterday evening. By the time John grabbed the camera, he could only capture about a third of it. It really did look perfect : )
When the girls got up this morning I let them watch a few minutes of the royal wedding footage. They were so surprised to hear the words "princess," "palace," and "queen," in reference to real live people. Anna asked, "Why are there real princes and princesses?" She became disinterested in my explanation of history after about 20 seconds, so then I just said, "Well, tradition, I guess!"
we saw the rainbow too!! So beautiful!! And Henry said the same thing... "Mom, those are REAL princesses... not just pretend."
