The last few weeks have included some unseasonably warm days and I have really enjoyed them. When October hits I'm usually craving fall weather, but it's been hard for me to say good-bye to summer this year. Not sure why.
I've enjoyed planning some little outings with the girls and family. A week ago we went to the nearby arboretum. It's a beautiful park tucked right in the middle of a busy suburb, and even though there's usually a lot of people there, I really like it. The girls like to name the turtles and play hide and seek in the maze of bushes.
On an even warmer day we went to the pumpkin farm. They have the best hayrides there and you can tell from the photos that everyone got a little treat : ) I see some pumpkin carving and painting in our near future.
Poor Sarah! Doesn't she look terribly uncomfortable in this photo? I have to protect everything from her crazy spit up : )
