We hosted a few parties in Mid- December. One for the college/young adult group and one for our flock (aka - small/large group) from church. Both parties (I only have pics from one) were fun and a real blessing to our hearts.
Best memories from flock party: 1.) Singing carols around the piano 2.) Playing a "Family Feud" game centered around a very loved and dear couple that is moving to a different small group. It was fun and they totally didn't expect it : )
Best memory from College group party: White elephant gift exchange - does it get any funnier than that? You can imagine with young adults : )
Celebrating with our brothers and sisters in Christ is a gift. There is nothing like it. Being brought together in community for God's glory and our benefit is an indescribable blessing!
