We took a long weekend vacation to Dale Hollow Lake to go boating with John's family. It was a nice way to start our summer despite the weather not being as warm as we would have liked. The water was so clear and beautiful and the surrounding area is really scenic and relaxing - bad wifi, and no stores, traffic, starbucks, etc! It was nice to get away from the busyness of life and be with family again. Vacationing with them is easy : )

Anna has become a serious boater. Nothing can stop her. Cold water? Cold Day? No problem, she jumps right in!
Payton is more of a cruiser but when the temps warmed up, she couldn't stay out of the water.

Boating and snacking (the girls' favorite part) always wipes you out.
Sarah was a trooper. The only time she cried was when we put her in the cold water. That's ok. I cried too when I got in : )

The more kids you have the easier it gets. : ) boating is so fun, a neat thing for the kids to grow up with!
