Recent Happenings

Summer is in full swing.  We've been out a lot & home a lot and enjoying it!

 

The girls like to go to this awesome grocery store when we're visiting my Mom and Dad. I mean, the candy section is HUGE!

 

The older girls have been in swim lessons for several months now.  Sarah comes along and swims with Daddy when he can make it.  I just love seeing them all in the caps and goggles. It's so cute.  Why the caps? It's one of many things I have to do to try and keep the chlorine from ruining their hair.  ugh! summer hair!

Beautiful night at the arboretum. The girls love it there.  Favorite thing to do? Play hide and seek in the maze of bushes. They wear me out!

 Here we are visiting at my friend Christy's house.  Our kids play so well together.  If only the siblings could get along!! As much as we love having our kids together, Christy and I decided that the next time we see each other will be sans kids :)

Anna & Payton are taking tennis lessons 1x a week this summer.  It's so fun to watch them ... a highlight of my week.  Doesn't Sarah look cute? She brings a racket just for fun.  She is growing up way faster than her sisters.  If she could do everything they do, she would. In fact, whenever we tell her she's not old enough to do something, she cries. It's true .. real tears.

 

Happy Father's Day! The girls were looking forward to "Daddy's Day" all week.  It was sweet.  John took the older girls out to a golf course.  He played and they putted. Everyone came home happy :)
