Our #1 reason for visiting Alabama was to see Stephen, but we wanted to make the trip feel like a real vacation, so we stayed at a beautiful resort in Birmingham. We had one night of warm sunshine and then it rained. Well, nothing could dampen the spirits of Anna. Every morning she wanted to go swimming in the "outside" pool despite the rain and chill. Kudos to John for taking her in the water and being just as excited! The cold wasn't for me!
