Preschool. Well, to be honest, I've been pretty relaxed about the whole thing. Over the past few years I've taught Anna from home .. a little bit here and there. No biggie. It's been easy and fun for both of us. This year I decided to be more intentional about her preschooling since she's up for the challenge and will be at the kindergarten age next year (crazy, huh?). So, I'm carving out time each week for field trips, more material at home, and I'm also taking her to a nearby church that provides a wonderful free preschool on Tuesday mornings! Anna's so excited. So, this morning was the open house/orientation to the classrooms/teachers. Next week is her official first day ... you know, where I have to actually leave her, let go of her hand, and watch her be totally fine without me! I'm planning to do more picture taking that day, but I couldn't resist taking photos of the kiddos (yes, Henry's going too). Unfortunately, they are not in the same class. Fortunately, they'll be forced to meet other children and make new friends. When we walked into Anna's classroom the teacher asked Henry, "Are you Anna's big brother?" He nodded his head and said, "yes, I am."
