These are a few verses/thoughts we have had through the building process and especially today.
"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Matthew 6:19-21.
"The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it;" Psalm 24:1
This house is a blessing from the Lord and we are so thankful. Homes are such fun places to make memories, to decorate, and to enjoy. But they are temporal ... an earthly possession that will be standing long beyond our years.
It has been quite fun to watch this home be built.
We were thrilled to get the keys today!!!
We had a picnic in the house this evening! Then we played a nice long game of hide and seek. It was blast. Payton was so cute. She's not that quiet when she hides, and when she finds someone shes says, "BOO."

ReplyDeleteI love the picture of you and the girls with the pizza and blanket. Every time we moved growing up (5x's!), we had a picnic with pizza while my parents cleaned and we played. It was so fun. You are going to make some great memories in the next few weeks... hang onto those when you start to think you're going to go crazy!! :) We are praying for you!
