Darlings and Silly Bands

Everyone uses terms of endearment/affection when talking to their children, right?   I often use the words darling, sweetie, and honey when I talk to my girls.  I didn't know that "darling" was my most popular word until last week when I overheard the girls playing "house."  Anna was calling Payton "darling," and Payton was calling Anna, "Momma."  I asked Anna what they were playing and she said, "Mommy and Darling."  I got a good chuckle out of that one.  So, how about you?   What do you call the children in your life?

I had to make reference to silly bands sometime on the blog.  This is the first of many fads that my girls will probably like : )  Their Nana sent them the first pack over the summer, and they've collected a few more.  Who would have known that something so simple could be so cool?  Here they are displaying some bands and taking turns selecting the ones they want to wear.

  4. So crazy how something so simple could be such a fad. But it always makes me wonder why I couldn't have thought of something so easy!
