We are learning quickly that parenthood is full of choices, many of which are personal and wisdom related decisions.
We decided to not send Anna to kindergarten this year as a young 5-year old. Although we're certain she would have been academically ready, we thought it best for her to stay home with me another year for more formative guidance and care (among other reasons). Before you know it, she'll be busy with academic schedules/activities, and there will be no turning back to these slower paced days at home!
This year she'll be attending the same preschool one day a week. Other than that, we'll continue with our regular schooling at home and special field trips. We're looking forward to it all!

Love your decision and I feel the same way, that before we know it the years of going to school will be here. That shirt she has on in the last picture if so pretty on her. So cute w/the two girls same pose.

ReplyDeleteMy neighbor is sending her little girl to that school as well. Does she have a girl named Audrey in her class?
