... 4 days late! Our Anniversary was on the 18th.

My parents kept the girls last weekend. Sometimes I get a little anxious about the girls being out of my care, but then like 30 seconds after I hand them over to grandparents, I remember how relaxing it is to have a few days free of parenting responsibilities! We had a great time playing tennis, going out to dinner, seeing a movie at the theater, eating ice cream (twice!), and enjoying a new coffee shop.
We tried hard to get a good photo at Dewey's pizza. This was the best we could do. : )
The girls celebrated with us on our actual anniversary. Cake with 8 candles : ) Oh, and more ice cream : )
happy anniversary! SO HAPPY you could get away without kids and enjoy uninterrupted conversation, dinner without sippy cups and booster seats, and ice cream without spills and potty breaks. :)
