Homecoming!

Sarah is one week old!  She is precious. What a little bundle of cuteness : )  We're so thankful for our healthy baby girl.  Anna and Payton adore her and are adjusting well to having a new sister.  We are so glad!

The labor and delivery of little Sarah still surprises me. I couldn't really tell when I was in labor since my contractions were never closer than 10 minutes apart until I reached 8 cm dialated.  I'm so glad we went to the hospital on a hunch otherwise we might have been making a mad dash to get there in time : )

We're obviously at home now and getting adjusted to our little baby.  I would like to say that it has been easy breezy but every parent knows that these early days can have some taxing and tiring moments.  We are in the midst of it, but so thankful for God's grace and the blessing that he has given us.
Fresh from the womb!
Love the memories of the people present when my babies were born.  I can not say enough good things about my doctor.  The practice that I go to has two docs.  The other doc delivered Anna and Payton and the doc pictured above delivered Sarah.   It was so nice to get to know him during the pregnancy.  During my labor, he told me that he really wanted to be the doc to deliver my baby and that was so sweet.

The girls have said the funniest things about Sarah and to Sarah.
Payton wonders why she has "old feet."  Anna is so motherly. Both of them love to hold her and give  kisses.
