First Grade Writing

Anna loves to read and write.  Sometimes I will unexpectedly find stories or poems that she's written.  I love when that happens.  She surprises me with her creativity and young thoughts.  On Saturday night I found this paper on an end table.  Anna told me it was a song that she wrote for Dr. Seuss' birthday :)

Do you know who Dr Seuss is? Is he as person who wered a funny hat. Or is he a person who likes to eat Green eggs? Or does he like to say a lot of words? Or is he a person who walks arond the world? Or is he a person who uses his imagination? Or is he a person who drives arond in cars? No, no, no, that can't be right! Dr. Seuss is a ather and a ilasrater.  And Dr. Seuss is first book is And to think that I saw it on Mulberry Street.  And Dr. Seuss is good at rimes. Like ring, ding, sing.  And Dr. Seuss writed the books: the cat in the hat and green eggs and ham and oh say can you say and Mr. Brown can moo can you.  Do you like Dr. Seuss?  I do!!!
