Memories of traveling with a 1 year old

Happy Baby! She has all of her toys on her lap. Look! She's even reading a book. Who could ask for anything more, right?

"Mommy, I'm so cute. You won't mind if I throw all of my toys on the floor on purpose and ask you to get them for me, will you?"  "Again?"  "Again?"  "Again?"
"Now you've told me 'No.' What do you mean your back hurts and you don't want to unbuckle and pick everything up again?  It's so fun to throw everything down and have you pick it up!  I thought we were playing a game?  I'm going to cry and scream for 20 minutes until you pick it up again!"

"Mom, Dad, Anna, Payton, you lasted as long as you could.  I know you were hoping that I would fall asleep, but that's not my game on these road trips.  Snacks won't work. Discipline won't work. I want the toys!"

... but Mommy and Daddy did have the final word, eventually :)
My goodness!
Parenting memories.
Love our baby girl!
