John turned 34 on August 3rd and Sarah turned 2 on August 4th! When Sarah was born she missed John's b-day by 1hr and 34 minutes. We're celebrating their birthdays together as long as we can!
It seems like Sarah is learning something new and changing every day. This age is colored with cuteness - the way she walks, talks, and plays melts our hearts and makes us want to just squeeze her! Not every moment is adorable of course - she also has the tantrums & impatience that come with being a 2 year old. She is on the go and into everything. Busy, busy, busy!
Sarah still loves her blanket that she calls "baby." She is also still attached to her "Boo" dog. She calls all beverages, "Milk." When she's thirsty she'll pace around the house impatiently saying, "milk, milk, milk, milk ..." She calls her sisters "dee dee" or "she-she." She like to help with chores. She is still a great sleeper. Her most frequent words are "Hi Mommy" and "Hi Daddy." She likes to be outside. When her sisters are being too loud she will stick her fingers in her ears. She's attached to Mommy. She likes to play with play food.
One of my favorite parts of the day is getting Sarah out of her crib in the morning. It's so sweet to see how excited she is to see me when she gets up. I also enjoy reading to her at night. It's a special few moments I get with just her since she goes to bed before the big girls.
Happy Birthday, Sarah. Your sisters adore you! We thank God for you! We love you so very much!
