Remember when...

I love to flip through the pages of old photo albums. Do you? You know, the photos that have yet to be scanned and digitized? That is just what I did last night. I pulled a few albums out of the closet and excitedly brought them to bed. I had hoped that John and I would revel in the memories together, but he conveniently fell asleep after, like, the first picture.

  This photo is unflattering but hilarious. This was taken 4+ years ago after John and I had our lasik surgery. I can't believe we had the presence of mind and sight to take this picture. I laugh every time I look at it.

This picture was taken on my first date with John. I'm sorry that it's such poor quality. I tried to edit but to no avail. Oh, and yes, we were at a Chuck-e-cheese's. 

My friends and I at our college graduation. I remember exactly how I felt... so excited and so very very sad.

Well, with all that said, I do have a funny story to share about Anna. Lately she has been asking us, "Remember when I was Payton?" She usually poses this question after Payton does something cute/funny. Well, the other day we were on a walk and she saw a butterfly. She pointed at it and asked, "Mommy, do you remember when I was a butterfly?"
