Barnraising

Yes, you read that title correctly! House projects take a lot of time, don't they? Have you ever thought, "If I just had 10 extra hands, I could get this done?" Well a group of families from church had that very thought and we decided to help each other out this year and dedicate some time to working on projects/renovations at each respective house. It's been such a blessing to help others and then this past Saturday the crew came to our aid. We painted! Now, I know that many suggest a 1 year delay in painting for new construction homes, but I don't want to live with white walls for that long. I'd rather re-paint. I must apologize for a the lack of photos. Forgetting to take pictures is a weakness of mine. I'll post some "after" photos soon!
Living Room- a rich brown color
