Field Trip #2

It was a lesson about turkeys at one of the local parks. Do you know what the wattle is? Ask Anna ... maybe she'll remember! I think the kiddos really enjoyed themselves. Anna was a bit timid around the live turkeys and didn't want to help feed them even after learning that they are quite friendly animals. However, she did manage to wander over to the pigpen all by herself. Thankfully we caught her before she got too close to the fence since it read, "Do not feed." When we got home I asked her about her favorite part and she said, "I just really like those pigs."

Michelle, don't hate me for posting this photo. I couldn't resist b/c it's so funny. She was trying to get Henry to act like a turkey but as you can see, she was the one who ended up acting like one!
