We had a rather warm day last week and Michelle and I decided to take our kiddos to a metro park in the north of town for one of our planned "field trips." Believe it or not this park is actually in the city, but you would never know it .... beautiful acres of woodlands, gardens. etc. Best of all, there's a children's discovery area that's great for exploration and learning.

We tried to get one of those cute photos of the kids on the leaves. Henry and Wyatt did great but Anna and Payton complained about the sun ... funny how it was an overcast day.
