Kings Island 2011

Do you ever have those moments that you wish you could really capture and cherish for years to come?  Yesterday was so memorable and sweet.  My brother and his family came to town, and we celebrated his son Cody's birthday and then took our annual trip to Kings Island.  Like the previous two years, we took advantage of the after-5 discount and enjoyed the park until closing.  It's the perfect amount of time, and since we only go once a year, the trip is extra special.  It was so much fun!  I love watching the girls have a blast. Such a joy to see their big smiles.  At one point, I was riding the carousel (the only ride I was permitted to get on) with Payton.  We were giggling together and she said, "Mommy, this is my most favorite ride.  Let's go on it again and again.  We have to run, ok?"  At the end of the evening I asked Anna about her day and she said, "This is my best game place!"
My nephew, Cody, with his cake. The funny line on his forehead is a fake mustache.
On the the big kids coaster.  She was so scared before she went on it, but then admitted that it was her favorite ride. "It had really big hills, Mommy!"

So thankful for the memories!
