Last weekend was so terrific. I have to post more.
We celebrated Nana's birthday with some cake and ice cream on Sunday evening. I love making the old school double layer cake - best ever : )
John's Dad made a special drink (much like a shirley temple) and put light cubes in it. Ever heard of them? A big hit. (see photos below).
Local parade on Monday morning. Another big hit for the kids. The superhero float was Payton's favorite, obviously.
Birthday party for a sweet 1-year old, Myles, on Monday evening. Great time with great friends : ) Sorry no pics!
Fireworks on Monday night and we didnt' even have to drive anywhere. Our neighbors set some big ones off in the field behind us. Nice! : )
