Wedding Bells

Our friends, Tony and Amanda, got married this past Saturday! They are a young couple from our church that we've gotten to know over the past several years.  Amanda has been one of our sitters since Anna was a little baby and my girls adore her.  She's a sweet, goofy, giving, and tender-hearted young lady. It's been a wonderful blessing to invest time into her and Tony's lives and see their awaited wedding day come true.

Amanda has a sea of friends and to be chosen as her Matron of Honor was truly an honor.
It was a privilege to support and encourage her during the months/day before her wedding and it's so fun to be with the bride and the bridesmaids the day of the wedding.  What a wonderful responsibility to stand beside her as she said her vows to Tony and to commit to keeping her accountable to those vows in the months and years to come.

We pray for God's grace in their lives as they grow closer to Him and to each other.
I thought my friends would get a kick out this photo.  I relinguished the bachelorette party responsibilities to a few of the younger gals in the bridal party.  I hung in there with the 20-somethings and had a great time.  At one point, one of the bridesmaids (you know who you are : )  said, "Pam, I didn't know if you'd be goofy enough for this party."  HA!  I chuckled inside because I couldn't help but remember all of the goofy fun things I did in college and when I was in my early twenties.  But the truth is that goofiness does change a bit as we get older, doesn't it? ... just ask my girls about how I pretend to be an alligator : )

First time for the girls to be flower girls.  They were great and took their responsibility very seriously : )
They couldn't have been cuter!!!

Thanks Amanda and Tony for asking us to be a part of your big day!
We love you and we'll treasure these memories forvever : )
