Doggy Party!

Last Saturday 3 of her friends, my parents, and two very special families from church came over to celebrate Payton's 4th birthday.  Payton did not waver from her desire to have doggy party - it all started over a year ago when she said, "I want a Nemo party and then a Doggy party."  She was sure of it and was very excited for this day to come since it was her first real party with friends and games.  We colored, played pin-the-tail on maggie (photo of friend's dog), ate lunch and cake, opened presents and then a dog pinata. Everything ran smoothy and the kids were really subdued - totally unexpected!  It was so warm that day too (high 70s). I'm not sure it will every feel so nice on her b-day again.  So glad we could do this for Payton.  It was really special.  Oh and thanks to pinterest for all the sweet ideas. ; )
