Cry Me a River!!

Anna's first day of first grade was yesterday. 

She was so excited - we can always tell because she is extra talkative.

There were so many kids and parents at the bus stop.  I think we counted 10 kids and 15-20 adults.

After she left on the bus, I took Payton and Sarah to a friend's house for our annual tradition of donuts on the first day of school.  I'm glad I stayed there until 12:00, so I didn't miss Anna as much!  And John is home today!   Next week might be a doozy though : )

 

She had so much fun and told us all about lunch, recess, music class, bus rides, etc.  Her favorite part?  Recess, for sure!   I'm happy for her.  She loves school!
