Happy Birthday, Anna!!

We have a 7 year old in our house!!!!

Anna's birthday was last Saturday.  A few months ago we decided, by her request, to have a party for her at a gymnastics center.  I'm so glad we did - she was so happy to be there with her friends and family, and it was nice for us to have a completely stress free party!

I'm really looking forward to this year with Anna.  This is such a fun age and stage of life with her. As each year passes she can do so many more things (like cooking, reading, etc) which makes life with her so fun and exciting. Sometimes she remembers things I have forgotten, knows a fact that I never learned (or maybe retained ha ha), laughs at the same things I do, shares an opinion that isn't mine, likes something that I think is ugly, or makes a suggestion that I never thought of but turns out to be a great idea.  She's growing up and I'm so thankful to be her Mom!!   She's curious about so many things and asks a bazillion questions, but even though she's becoming more independent she still wants Mommy and Daddy!   

Anna, my prayer is always that you will be transformed by the saving grace of God through Jesus Christ.  I hope that you grow to be a humble, loving, and thankful young lady.

Happy Birthday, sweet girl!  YOU ARE LOVED!!!

 We did a "Wild Kratts" theme for the party since that is her favorite show.  We kept it simple : )

We ended the evening with dinner out. Everyone told the birthday girl why we are thankful for her.

I'm thankful that she likes to give kisses and hugs.  I'm thankful that she is so easy to please!
