We seem to go from one activity, chore, or agenda item to the next, and before we know it a year has passed. Before Sarah was born, a friend encouraged me to slow down and intentionally enjoy the fleeting newborn/infant stage, and even though that often seems unattainable, it was good advice. In the midst of our busy lives, I'm thankful to have had so many special memories with my growing baby daughter this past year. Of course not every moment was enjoyable with the spit ups, sleepless nights, motherhood/baby woes, and imperfections that come with baby territory, but this past year was a really sweet time for me and my family.
Sarah is adorable. She smiles and squeals and babbles a lot. I'm starting to detect some words like "Mama!" She cruises around furniture but has no interest in letting go. I think it's going to be a few months before she really starts walking. She has no interest in baby toys and would rather open cupboard doors & follow her sisters around. I think she's starting to move to one nap a day. She gets very excited when she sees her sisters in the morning. She still doesn't like to leave Mommy or Daddy's arms. She LOVES to be held. She cries when she hears the word, "No." I am so so happy to be her Mommy. SO MUCH LOVE! Thank you, Lord!
Look at those crazy teeth!!!
