It was so nice to get away last week for another boating vacation with John's family. It's been a stressful summer for us and these little reprieves have been such a blessing. We went boating, swimming, saw a movie, played games, made yummy food, and celebrated birthdays. John also went golfing with his parents several times and I was so happy for him. He loves to play but rarely gets a chance in "real life." : )
When we go to Lake Cumberland we stay at a nice condo community. It's great because there's something for everyone. This year John's parents rented golf carts so we could get around more easily, and they were a highlight for sure! We took them out a few times for "animal watching" and saw a lot of deer. The girls always name the little animals they see. It's cute. One time Anna was walking towards a deer and she said, " Hi Feline (from Bambi). I'm Anna. Don't be scared. I'm nice." How sweet is that?!? Sweet enough to make up for the fact that she tried to drive a golf cart by herself (without permission) and crashed into a bush? That was funny and scary : )
Aunt Crystal brought Anna and Payton new lunch boxes filled with goodies. She put this little bunny in Anna's lunch box. Anna opened the box and was so surprised to see a live animal!! Crystal had rescued this little bunny on her property in Tennessee. She nursed it back to health and the girls set in free while in KY. That was hard for Anna. She REALLY wants a pet. : )
Everyone at breakfast for John's birthday.
Papaw teasing Sarah ... so cute!

Sarah turned one while we were there! More on that in another post.

Lake swimming!
Thank you Mom and Dad Bailey for making this vacation possible. It was so nice to have everyone in one place and to make more memories.
Payton is cracking me up in these photos. And all the menus under Sarahs feet. I have got to get on my blog soon to update.
