I want to get these photos up tonight for the grandparents!
Halloween this year started this morning with the girls getting their costumes on for their school parties/parades. They were pumped! Anna was Laura Ingalls. A few months ago she decided on her costume after we finished reading "The Little House on the Prairie." I'm so impressed that she followed through with her creative choice, especially after she told me today that no one knew who Laura Ingalls was when she told her classmates. They thought she was dressed up as Little Red Riding Hood!! She looked adorable! Payton was happy to be a bumble bee. She wore the same costume that Anna wore when she was in Kindergarten. I love that costume and Sarah will wear it one day, too! This year Sarah was a little pumpkin. She was so excited to put it on and fit in with her older sisters.
This year I got to volunteer at Payton's party in the morning. It was fun bc I love interacting with all the kids and meeting other parents. Those kiddos are adorable in their costumes and just so happy about a simple little party. Plus, it's such a Mom boost when Payton sees me and gets so excited to have me at her school.
Here she is at the parade. Too cute! I can hardly stand it!
So excited!
Me and my sweet girl
30 minutes before show time. I can't get a decent pic indoors.
Beggars Night is fun.
I like seeing the kids get super excited and dressed up. Plus, It really it is a great time with neighbors.
Anna said, "Mom, this is the best night, not the best holiday, but the best night." One of these years I'm going to have to whip up a costume for me!

Baby girl! Too much!!
A light rain started a little before 7:00. I brought Sarah home and John and the older girls pressed on. They were home 15 minutes later and wet. Memories! Look at all that candy. What am I going to do now? It goes into the pantry that I pass by a bazillion times a day. If it wasn't for the M&M's and Twix bars, I think I would be ok!
Happy Halloween!!
Thank you for posting the pics! Love them all.!
ReplyDeleteGosh, Pam. You look SO beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLove sweet Peyton and her little bee costume. Sarah makes the perfect pumpkin! What a cool choice for Anna. Love her independent spirit!
I have used my graduation robe from Cedarville SO many times for different costumes. Do you still have yours?
