A new toy

Anna got a fun treehouse/cabin toy set for Christmas (thanks Sarah for the suggestion). When Payton was sleeping I told Anna that we could take it out of the box. After glancing at the instructions, I suggested that we wait until Daddy got home since he could assemble it faster and, unlike me, actually enjoy piecing it together. Anna begged me to do it right away. So, here were some of her encouraging words and actions during the 1.5 hr assembly process.

"Mom, you're doing a great job."

kiss & hug

"Mom, I'm so pressed with you" (supposed to be "impressed")

kiss & hug

"I'm so exciting."

"I very like this, Momma"

Not the most flattering photo, I know. I was taking a bunch of shots and she happened to give this face.

  2. You know she was all giddy b/c it wasn't her toy and yet she got first dibs at it WITH MOMMY! My kids get like that when they steal each other's lipglosses... very sweet and subtly sneaky! : )
