Nana and Papaw's house

John's Mom called a few weeks ago and asked if she could have the girls for a weekend in October.  YES!!  In anticipation of the weekend, I was a little nervous about the girls being away from me.  I thought I would miss them terribly.   Well, we definitely thought of the girls while they were away, but it was so nice to get a break from our day to day parenting responsibilities.   Of course, I had a list of things to get done, but really I never got around to most of it.  However, I did have a few nice long breakfast dates with friends, John and I went out on Friday night, and we painted a room on Saturday (photos to come).

Of course the girls had a marvelous time at Nana and Papaw's house.  They came back on Sunday afternoon.  They didn't seem the least bit excited to see us  (breaks my heart every time), but when John asked Anna what she missed most about home, she said, "Snuggling with Mommy."
