The things they say

I seriously wish I could remember all the funny things the girls say each day.

My parents came to watch the girls one evening and Anna asked, "Why is Grandma and Grandpa coming?"  "Because Daddy and I are going out by ourselves," I replied.  "What country are you going too?"

I was making pancakes a few days ago and was stacking each one on top of another when Payton said, "Momma, they're going to fall!"  In all seriousness Anna said, "Don't worry, Payton, they won't fall because they're made out of paper and plastic."

Anna was sick a few weeks ago.  At one point I asked her if she felt like joining us at the table for dinner. She said, " I can't, Mom, my legs don't work when I'm sick."  The next morning she was feeling better and she said, "Look, I can walk much better today."

Payton has three favorite words/phrases  that she uses A LOT-

1.)  "You're home Daddy!"  This is what she exclaims when John comes home from work everyday.  She repeats it several times throughout the rest of the evening.  It's cute.  She must really miss him : )

2.) "Yesterday"  This is the word she uses when she refers to anything from the past. For example, she'll say, "yesterday was my birthday!"

3.) "Of course."  This is her new way of saying, "yes."  I know it sounds simple, but it's so cute when it comes from her lips.

Here they are goofing off.  Anna is tickling Payton : )
