30 Weeks

I'm 3/4 of the way there! Since this might be my last pregnancy, I am really trying to soak in and treasure all of the maternity moments, even the hard ones.   Thankfully, I'm still feeling pretty good at the start of this last trimester.  I have stiff joints in the morning and it's harder to get off the floor, but if I wear good shoes, I can get around pretty good for a long time without any aches or pains.  Of course, now I'm getting lots of strong kicks and movements from the baby and those little body parts jab and poke at times.  I like it when it feels like the baby is taking a walk, and I can see my belly rattle from the outside : )

I seem to have a pretty hearty appetite right now since the baby is growing a lot.  Most people look at me and say, "you look so small and you're all belly." Really?!?!  Of course, I don't feel that way.  I'm now fitting into the maternity clothes that at the beginning of my pregnancy I thought I would never grow into (why do I think that every time?). Oh, and I now have the pregnancy face (where I can tell I'm pregnant in a photo even though I can't see my belly).  It's a beautiful time.

It's so fun to not know the gender of this baby.  Everyone is making predictions with such certainty ...

Some say girl, some say boy.   Any guesses?

This isn't the best belly shot.  Seconds before leaving New Orleans I realized that I didn't get a pregnancy profile shot while we were down south.  John took this is front of the hotel right before we got into the car.
