Ok, we're on to the final few days. On Friday we went to Hollywood studios. We definitely thought this park was geared towards an older audience. Our nephews seemed to enjoy it the most. We rode some of the rides and the girls met the Pooh characters and some of the Toy Story characters. Up until this day Payton was shy around the characters, but she gave such big hugs to Eeyore and Pooh - so cute. We did the backlot tour and saw a few shows, but the very best part of the day was the Fantasmic show at night. In our opinion, it was the best show of the whole week. It was a wee bit scary for the kids but so imaginiative and creative. Anna kept oohing and ahhing over everything and excitedly pointing out the movie scenes and characters. After the show was over the people around us said they loved sitting next to her. That was sweet : )
When Saturday hit we had to pack up and get ready to leave, but our flight didn't leave until the evening, so we spent half of the day at Magic Kingdom. It was a great way to end the week. By this point my brothers and their families had already left, so it was just my parents and us. Guess what we did? We waiting an hour to meet Rapunzel! That is longest we waited the entire week for anything, but it was worth it (I can't believe I'm saying that). She was so lively and sweet and Anna loved touching her hair. Anna asked her why her hair wasn't brown anymore (like it was at the end of the movie). Rapunzel had a very good answer for that question, so I'm assuming she gets asked that a lot : ) We rode Peter Pan and "It's a Small World" one last time and then left the park. Even though we were exhausted we were sad about leaving. Payton cried!! It's so hard to say goodbye (ha ha : )
Entering Hollywood Studios
Payton loving on Eeyore
Little Jessie : )
John insisted that they meet Buzz and Woody. Payton would look but wouldn't touch.
Mom and Dad
Fun Rapunzel - she had serious green contacts in her eyes
I love how you can bring babies on the rides.

That is a REALLY good looking Rapunzel. What was her answer for her hair?
ReplyDeleteFantasmic was Ashley and I's favorite show, too. Truly spectacular.
You did a great job catching each day!! The best part is you'll have this blog for the girls to always go back and reminisce with the details written that you might not remember otherwise. A memorable vacation indeed!!! I agree... A very pretty Rapunzel! I had to really look at her bangs... they seriously look like they are attached to her head. Was it really a wig?? :)
